Ive had another go at the circuit by adding a larger coil, used up all the 18 guage i had left and wotdyaknow it worked, finally some movement. Now im ready to go a step further and tune it to best potential for charging. Long way for me yet though i need info on how to measure my amps and rpm and then how best to collate the data, so plenty still to do

  • scratch the bit ...

scratch the bit about 9v it wont run on anything less than 13.2 v im reaaly gonna have to rewind also im lookin for help on a 55 timer circuit so i can cap the pulse , im only gettin a few mVolts per cycle into the charging battery after resting so its taking me 9 24v batteries to charge 1 x 12v battery (mind you the 12v was 0.4 to begin with) however i will persevere cycling 24v batteries in till this 12v battery is up to the mark

  • Skimping is a nono ...

Skimping is a nono your right. Even though its rotating im really struggling to find its sweetspot. The combination of low number of turns and thick wire means it draws a large amount of mAMPS and wont run on anything less than 9v ive had to change my resistor to a higher rated (2watt)run on 24v batteries. Im going to rewind again using the specified 22 and 26 wire with at least 800 turns so i can run on a 5v power supply, the fun continues. Good look on your build let us know how it goes :)

Hey great to see it going. I can't get enough of the Bedini. Soon I'll have time to put mine together and now I know not to skimp on windings like I planned lol.

  • You got it up and ...

You got it up and running well done. The thing that impresses me the most is your perseverance in getting it up and running. Most would have given up after the first attempt and put it down to it the fact that it just doesnt work, again well done.
