It was about 20 years ago that I sprayed him. If that nutcase comes around again, i'll hose him with my Sabre Red DPS. Other things I like about the Sabre Red DPS (and all SEC products) is strict quality control. Their "DPS" units also use Dymel 134a/P as a propellent, which mixes with the carrier and allows more fluid in the can, makes the last shot just as powerful as the first, and propels the liquid out with alot of force/speed. They also HPLC test every batch for heat consistency.

  • This was many years ...

This was many years ago. The first time I sprayed him cuz he punched my friend in the face. Later he attacked me because i had sprayed him before. We went to the cops both times but they wouldn't do anything. I told the cops that next time he attacked I would shoot him. They said they would then arrest me. They wont arrest the criminal, but they will arrest the law abiding citizen defending themselves. I made a complaint to the DA about the cops + the DA forced the cops to make an arrest.

It seems that this "heavy coke user" keeps returning and harassing you. Why have you never called the police? Twice you sprayed him and once you pulled a pistol on him. Obviously this coke head wants something you have.

  • I've sprayed the ...

I've sprayed the same person on 2 occasions. He was a heavy coke user. The first time was with stream of CN tear gas, and on another occasion with a blast of Capstun OC. They both worked, and the element of surprise made them both more effective. On the 3rd occasion that he threatened me, I showed him my 1911 .45 acp and never saw him again after that.

  • Yeah... you should ...

Yeah... you should bring whatever you can to a gun fight. If "only" spray, it's better than no spray. "Never use spray on a person that has a gun or knife" is very bad advice. Use what's available and what the situation warrants.

I was just sprayed with Vector yesterday for Corrections Training. I am here to attest that it S**ks big time. I can only say that it felt like someone sprayed me with a blow torch for 30 consecutive minutes. Kudos for all of my fellow law enforcement and soldiers that have had it.

  • I've seen both OC & ...

I've seen both OC & CS sprays have zero effect on people under the influence of drugs or mentally deranged. These sprays only work on normal people. And never use a defense spray on a person that has a gun or knife because they will still use that weapon against you.

  • CS and OC work in a ...

CS and OC work in a completely different manner. CS and CN are irritants that cause profuse tearing, burning sensations and the effects are minor. OC or Oleoresin Capsicum Spray is an inflammatory agent and that makes all the difference. It causes the eyes to slam shut difficulty breathing and cuts off all but life support breathing. Not all sprays are the same Get one with at least 1.0% Major Capsaicinoids Sabre Red is 1.33%. The Sabre company is dedicated to providing the most potent OC sprays

  • OC is alot more ...

OC is alot more effective than CS. OC works on people who have a high tolerance for pain or are psychotic. OC takes effect in about a second, while CS can take up to 20 seconds to get working. OC is also in inflammatory agent, which causes the eyes to swell and tear, causing temporary blindness, the nose to swell shut and discharge mucous, the mouth, throat and lungs also swell and make it very difficult to breathe. Lots of coughing, sneezing and burning too.

You should bring your spray to a gun fight, along with your gun. Not every situation warrants deadly force.
