The thing is, Beyonce can sing AND dance at the same time...Rihanna can just sing, she can't move around all crazy like Beyonce in a performance...which is why Beyonce can perform better, BUT beyonce has had many more years under her belt, she's been doing it for over a decade...Rihanna is still new at this.

lol i was thinking that too....poor man-- sounds like he had a cold or something. beyonce's performance was still hot, tho. and the tribute to josephine was well-done, even down to her vocal style-- if you notice, in other performances she sings it lower and "rougher" but she kind of channels josephine's high, fluttery voice here which is cool

Its silly to say Rihanna is better than Beyonce, look at the longevity of the bday album. Rihanna performed SOS that night, and Beyonce did De Ja Vu, Beyonce was still doing promotion for BDAY during GOOD GIRL GONE BAD which was released 10 months prior. Enuff said!!

omg are you fer real? Rihanna lipsynced her way to the top until she changed her image for 'Good Girl Gone Bad' (totally made her look like a poser). she doesn't dance as much now, meaning she can REALLY sing live, and she is nothing compared to Beyonce.
