Freemasonry has given to much glory to Lucifer. It is the name of Jesus Christ that every knee shall bow, and the only name by which we may be saved! Jesus IS the light of the world, the fountain of living water, the bread of life! Yet the Shriner prays to the God of Islam in their initiation, and the 33rd degree glorifies the name of Lucifer!

nah nah i wasn't talking about you elkahirmember i was talking in general. like the guy who posted this video. and i was on the path to becoming a mason myself at a point things changed and i never went into it so i do understand the viewpoints of where all of you guys come from. sorry about the generality there but i can not think of better wording. anyway i just wish everyone could accept people for who they are people judge me due to my modifications but i am a pretty normal nice guy

I'm not trying to convert. Just trying to explain what the viewpoint is. I am a Shriner and when people try to give us a bad name it upsets me. It's like you said. Everyone is entitled to his or her viewpoint but to judge someone else's views without making an attempt to understand them is just plain narrowmindedness.

i would love to see the day when everyone could simply love one another and not argue at all over things like this. i do stand my ground but come on no one knows anything for sure so just try and all get along and let everyone do as they want, either it be worshipping satan, god, krishna, buddha, all the hundreds of pagan gods, mu hammed or whatever. just let things go and believe what you want and be happy. stop trying to convert everyone to be like you and bashing them if they don't.

Remember. If you truely read the book the Fallen Angel was not named Lucifer. The angel was AS Lucifer the bright morning star, or SUN, not the morning SON. Lucifer is reference to the planet Venus. Venis is the celestial body seen first at night and last to fade in the day. Lucifer, the bright morning star, is thought by many to be the bringer of light for when you only see Lucifer the SUN is sure to be close behind.

To continue this God needed Satan in order to show his true power. If it wasn't for him then everything would be perfect and God would in essence and logic be pointless. Satan needs to be here to tempt us and make us turn to God for help otherwise God would have no purpose as proven the universe is self sufficient. And to back this up read The God Part of the Brian it explains it more than i could. I do believe in a higher power but don't make people look bad b/c they don't think like myself.

Lucifer was God's favorite Archangel. He had the most sets of wings and God put him in charge of the morning rising and his name translates to "Morning Star". He became big headed and tried to kill God to clam heaven as his own. But God being all powerful sent him to Hell to give him a place of torment that he could rule as his own. Now the questions arises why did God simply not kill him? According to Milton and many other ideas God needed something evil to show his power and flex his muscle.

Lucifer is a FALLEN angel who rebelled against God!

Lucifer was an ANGEL. Lucifer was his angel. The Lord God's. So who thinks that the devil is Lucifer? Because he isn't. Wise up.

i wish i knew everything like every true christian does and my opinion was always right. man that would be the life.

you said it yourself, Crossbearer; you must believe in "A God" to join the fraternity. in my lodge we are all christian and attend a presbyterian church. in other lodges, there are a scattered mix of muslims, christians, even a catholic priest who is a good friend of mine.

and anyway, this old man isn't talking about satan. he is professing a belief in seeking more light. not the devil.
