i would like to know, once you pick a lock and successfully open it, can you lock it back using the pick?

Great video. I worked at a record store for a while; the corp decided that the promo discs for in-store play should be locked in a drawer so in order to change discs we had to get the store manager...so we learned how to pick locks rather quickly. This was a great refresher! office supplies are the best hack tools!

thank you so much for up loading this video because i got locked out of my house while my mum went to town and i had been picking a masterlock earlier this morning so i had a lot of paperclips on me and i picklocked my front door and got into my house just befour it started to rain. and once again i thank you for making this video!!!!!!!! :)

this technique is called raking. it usually works more quickly than in this video for simple locks. the problem this time was probably you applied too much tension on the tension wrench unless the lock has some kind of problem. it's important to not overdo it. also a proper raking pick will definitely make a difference.
