I know that i was just refering on the matter that TAG EAST its the main responsable for domestic CT, and TAG WEST its both but mainly focusing on international CT.

btw OAG obviously does their work at oil rigs and similar environments.

There is no tier 1 and secondary that is nonsense. TAG(west) is responsible for defence of the west coast of Australia, where TAG(east) is responsible for the east coast. Offshore Assault Group is responsible for counter terrorism operations where Australia's national interests are in the equation. It's not a difficult concept to follow.

I know you are at the same level as SASR, or then why the goverment will thrust to TAG EAST as TIER 1 of domestical incidents, thing that TAG WEST its secundary. Congrats and hope to visit australia someday to take military courses.

TAG EAST Its made of 4rar commandos, some SASR guys and CDT guys. TAG EAST its the main Counter Terrorism Group for domestics situations.

TAG WEST its made only of SASR guys. TAG WEST its for domestic and international ct situations.

They tend to train and operate together.
In a domestic situation the first group to respond would be TAG EAST, which its based at Sydney.

Then why is this being done at Holsworthy SFTC where Tactical Assault Group (East) train, as opposed to Swanbourne where the SASR train? Maybe you should learn what you are saying before calling people who are correct "F**k dum".

wrong pal SAS run Tactical Assault Group West alongside the Navy's CDT (Clearance Dive Team), Whereas Cdo's or Commandos run Tactical Assault Group East alongside the Navys CDT team. Plus in my oppionion Cdo's run rings around SAS but thats my oppinion and why im joining the Army, and one day join these blokes.
