I go to a high school with one of the top varsity golf teams in the state. JAck Nicklaus was a founder of my school, and still heavily supports the golf team (they practice at his private course, etc.). Even with Nicklaus's generosity towards them, you will not hear a single one of them say that Nicklaus was better than Tiger. Considering the fact that they are all scratch golfers or better, I think that we can safely say that their opinion is more informed than yours.

why r there so many non golfers on other pages slagging it off? they clearly no nothing about golf to call it just a game for yuppies. i personally play for the buzz of a long drive. this buzz is far greater FOR ME than scoring a goal in football (soccer whatever...) m8s play for something to do and buissness partners play for perhaps work related gains. different people different circumstances. get a life

ya, first problem....99% of people on here will go "whos Zuback"?......second, compare him against the other 99.9 of people on tour and he will seem strong and flexible. ......oh, and anyone who says Tiger is overrated knows nothing about the game....anyone who has done what he has, at his age, in this era of technology and improved training is someone special.

Tiger is overrated for ordinary people who knows nothing about the game. I guess we'd better leave the answer to this weird question to Jack, Arnie, Gary Player, MJ and other respectable golfers. Colored? Everyone is a color.If you want to use that term, say people of color. Like Tiger says in one of his comericals, there are places that he still can't play because of the color of his skin. Yes I think Tiger has made a difference. I know he made a difference on tour of the amount they get paid now.

Do you think Tiger Woods paved the way for more African Americans to play golf? I mean I know Black people cant afford clubs and some courses dont allow coloreds but do you think he made a difference. I sure think so.
