Can some one help me? I'm running a fresh install of windows xp. When I install software on my computer that requires me to restart my machine windows xp does not want to start on normal mode only in safe mode.

wtf r u talking about?????!!!!!!!! you cant download windows xp... the only way to download xp is to download a pirated ver of it or watever... thats ilegal..... if you want windows xp, got to walmart and buy it for $100 (that is if they sell it... maybe they dont since vista.....)

no u dnt have to delet your stuff off ya hardrive. Just put the disc in then reeboot ya computer then press F12 and it should upload all the files of the disc. Some times things can go wrongs thats why you should back up your computer on disc first just incase it fcks up your system.

im not finding the answer ne where can some one just please tell me if i have windows xp and buy windows vista ultimate oem or any other oem OS can i just put it in my cd/dvd rom drive and just install it with out haveing ne problems?? or do i need clean hard drive or what??????

i just did this last night

i accidently leant on the disc eject button and i got the BSOD

i booted my PC up this morning and its fine

im now running XP PRO w00t

I went to home edition to pro and accidently took the disk out so wenever i started my pc up it said primary harddrive 0 not found

Thx buddy but actually got my pc to work, was a PSU issue, Cheers!
