This stuff uses the same DY-86 vacuum tube as in previews video, but it is powered not from ignition coils but from C-W voltage multiplier from old TV set and a TV flyback transformer drove by Mazzilli's ZVS circuit. It gives about 30-40kV DC (not pulses) and relative high current. The vacuum tube is sunk in mineral oil to provide better insulation. At the beginnign of the video you can see blue light inside the tube - the glass envelope of the tube glows blue mostly becouse of electrons that strikes its inside walls, and less becouse of x-rays. After a few seconds there is a yellow, bright light. It is the steel cathode inside the tube heated to hundred of celsius degrees by electron beam. It means that there is too much current. A few seconds longer and the cathode would start to melt and the tube would be destroyed. The radiation is much stronger than in the other video with ignition coils, but it's still not enough to make x-ray pictures, mostly becouse of relative low voltage (there is a lot of radiation but the energy of photons is low).

This experiment is much more dangerous than previous one, becouse the radiation is much stronger.

!!! DO NOT TRY IT AT HOME !!!

I have a lead apron and adequate equipment to measure ionising radiation level, and also essential knowledge about high voltage and x-rays. Believe me that i know what i'm doing and i know how to do it safely, and believe that if you don't, it's realy dangerous for you and people around you.
