I put the song on here with the original cover sleeve so people can see that its a woman singing. The picture is of Q Lazzarus. I too, initially thought it was a man singing, but knowing that it is not, doesnt detract from the fact that the song is amazing/powerful. Unfortunately Q only made a few songs and they are very hard to come by. 'The Candle Goes Away', which featured in the 80's film 'Something Wild' staring Melanie Griffith i believe. 'White Lines' which appeared on the flipside to Goodbye Horses, and 'Heaven'(a cover) which appeared in the film 'Philadelphia', which you can see a clip of (on YouTube) under the title 'Soul Song In The End Of The Party', you even see Q herself.

    I get what you're saying. There are so many people who parody the Buffalo Bill scene because they think it's funny when in reality it's dark and disturbing. I looked up the meaning behind the title behind goodbye horses and it's about transcending the things that hurt us and pretty much being immune to hurt and just being happy. The song goes DEEP...haha. Anyway, I love the song. It's sad but it kind of makes me want to dance too.
