a) Why the hurry when the most dumb president of USA is about to exit?
b) Was this taken into confidence (by MAJORITY) by the parliament? - please NOTE it should be a thumping majority IF IT FAVOURS INDIAN INTERST WITHOUT CONCERNS!!
Any major INDIAN PARTY having concerns should be clarified - as this is NATIONAL CONCERN AS A WHOLE!!!

The largest religious minority in India would definitely oppose the deal. So would the left comrades. Other parties try to gain political leverage via this issue.
At the same time,India is surrounded on all sides by hostile neighbours...

I think the nuclear deal will help us resolve our growing energy needs...if we use less fossil fuels it can only be good for the environment...and god knows this can only be good for India. So many power plants and factories have destroyed rural areas it's not even funny

The so called pro-deal young are ignorant of history and US attitude towards it's allies. They are jumping to conclusion by virtue of their adrenaline, not by virtue of their brain. Of course, corporate houses in India are supporting this deal because all they want is money through business and least bothered about India independence. Didn't the Infosys chief Narayana Murthy ask the RBI to make the Rupee weak when it gained against the US dollar? Bunch of selfish capitalists!

I agree completely. Some 'young' people are just screaming and supporting the deal without understanding it. What the the US motives? US economy is crumbling. They want to sell us old (but sophisticated) technology only to make money and also watch over our N-programme. 14 our of 22 Indian N reactors are to be under safeguards - that's more than half. The only way for the pro-deal people to win is by calling others traitors, since they have no data to provide.

Did you read the 450 pages of the Hyde Act? And how do you know that these speakers read the Hyde Act or not? You may disagree with their views, but remember, they are up there and talking, because they have achieved far more than what yu have achieved.
