I found this simple, direct, and thought-provoking. In the last few years I have left the solid shores of Microsoft products and dipped into the sea of open-source-- PHP, Apache, MySQL-- and the communities that support these and the commercial but well-supported ActionScript. This very much describes my thoughts and feelings on various internet forum/discussion groups over the past ten years i have engaged with that I have seen create and improve upon even above and beyond what would be normally produced by an institution or corporate entity, its the love element there that indirectly drives/motivates progress, support and change. It is exciting to think of the formations that will arise in the future.
