if i say there is no shockwave, i mean a large shockwave, every time i say something there is a shockwave but i wouldnt say it is one.....
i belive that the "shockwave"(aka the sound) produced from this BLEVE is mainly from the propane making one huge FAE (Fuel Air Explosive), it may be irrelevant to the BLEVE but it isnt to the shockwave (sound)

No shockwave off a BLEVE? Have you seen footage of the Pepcon explosion?

The fact that it burns up relatively slow is completely irrelevant since a BLEVE can also occur with non-flammable liquids, like water.
The burning of the vapor isn't the BLEVE, the flashing of the liquid into vapor is. And this happens almost instantaneously.

yeah, and if u didn't live 5 miles away from where it happened... it wouldn't have been a real explosion ^^
