  • Oh you've noticed ...

Oh you've noticed that too? This is why an authoritarian regime's first priority is to control the media.

[resp. to bc9021010011: "It's an amazing thing. In the real world GOOGLE F'ING EXISTS. Enter the eerie land of YouTube comments on Penn & Teller videos and suddenly nothing is known or knowable except pro-Bush regime Cato Institute propganda. This uneducated medocrity Penn Jillette needs to stick to amusing drunks in Vegas. That is the extent of his competence."]

  • Think!!! It is ...

    Think!!!
It is obvious to a few of us. If you want REAL PURE WATER, it is certainly available. Pure water has NO contaminates...therefore, it has NO actual taste. Contaminates, such as chlorine, salts, and other substances, is what give water its taste; crappy or whatever it is to your tongue.
So, where is this pure water? It is found in the university chemistry lab, or corporate chemistry lab. And it is found in your neighborhood supermarket. It has a particular name. DISTILLED.

  • Fluoride poisoning ...

Fluoride poisoning in the water supply has happened many times due to equipment malfunction or employee negligence. As was said before:

    GOOGLE F'ING EXISTS. LOL

Als has e coli and chryptosporidium contamination. I sincerely hope those who think the government does a fine job of delivering safe drinking water continue to imbibe gluttonously and lower your IQs even more from the toxic chemicals.

Why do we all have to drink rat poison because some kids 50 years ago had cavities?

  • Nice that Penn ...

Nice that Penn Jillette's voiceover talks about bottled waters that come from tap, while showing visuals of Evian and Poland Spring which come from ... SPRINGS. Nice that of those bottled waters that are from municipal sources, he does not mention that many are FILTERED MULTIPLE TIMES. Fluoride in the water supply means you ingest it. Something different than brushing your teeth with it and SPITTING IT OUT. Fluoride is a toxic industrial byproduct. Disposing of it as "fluoridation" -- SCAM.

  • I have to aggre wth ...

I have to aggre wth logik316, I think if flouride was very bad for you then you'd hear about lots of people dying from it. When do you hear about flouride poisioning?

But the point I am trying to make is that tap water in certain places (like where I live) is so unhealthy, we feel bad washing our dishes with it. Out here we have to put filters on our sinks, when you water looks like lemonade and smells like garbage then you really don't want to drink it.

  • If you had paid ...

If you had paid attention to the video, you would realize that most bottled water actually IS tap water. That means it has flouride in it too. In any case, flouride is only poisonous in large quantities. Toothpaste has flouride in it, far more than what you find in water, and I don't see anybody dying from it, do you?

  • I'm not disputing ...

I'm not disputing that far too many people pay unnecessarily for bottled water even though their tap water is perfectly fine, but many places do have yucky-tasting tap water due to overchlorination or the presence of water softeners.

  • I live in rialto ...

I live in rialto california, and we have some of the worst tap water in the state and possibly in the country. Sorry, i'd rather spend a buck on a bottle of filtered tap water that actually tastes like water than drink a cup of water that looks like sprite.

And yes I can taste the difference, even in bottled water companies. Its not the water that does it, its the plastic they use. For example I can tell between cokes water, pepsis water and the tap. Mabie its a gift
