The point was to convince everyone that littering can cause massive problems, not to go clean it all up in the course of a day. Moron.

Yeah, but we should take responsibility, too. Considering it's our trash. I mean, what is next, asking jail birds to work to pay the debt?
We should ALL go out there and try to take care of some. We could do it little by little, because it is huge! You know?

The best thing ANYONE can do about this is get informed and inform others.

Nobody is going to do anything about this because it's in international waters. They cant just pick the plastic off the surface. There is literally miles of garbage beneath the surface...
