Blade 400 3D Gyro/tail Servo Setup Part 2

are u using the stock tail servo with the 401
or with stock gyro

thanks for reply. stock servos rotor turning correct way i have not moved any connections other than the 2 servos i changed the belt is correct as i said the tail rotor slides very slowly which makes me think its the tail servo

tail blades should rotate upinto the main or counterclock wise if not belt need to be fixed so that it will spin the T/r properly

whats your servos?

when operating the tail make sure the slider moves opposit the direction you put in ie left rudd stick slider goes right
for gyro compensattion when you move tail left with hand slider will move opposit the direction you moved tail

if nor reverse the switch on the gyro itself
in the TX gyro rev should be normal and if tail moves wrong on in put you have to rev the rudd servo in TX

hi sokal. video helped greatly in changing tail boom and servos but since repair heli spins wildly anti clockwise rotor turning clockwise tail rotor only slides side to side very slowly. could it be duff tail servo it woks o.k. by hand. thanks for any help. Kevin

thiera a switch on the gyro its self to reverse the compensation in put

now make sure that yu check the rudd control input if you put left input in the slider on the tail shaft should move opposit of your in put
now when in hh mode to check that its compensating properly hold tail and move it left the slider should move opposit also

hh with servo HiTec HS-65HB changes my gyro by one of esky and has the same problem. as I am new in this of heli I do not understand good muí what it wants to give to me entender.pero I am eforsando myself to be able to fly my ship.

if your tail servo is in HH mode gain above 50% then it wont return to center for it trying to read the drift
gain lower than 50 and it should center

Sorry, seems to be a translation mistake. The german manual only mentions the S9253 and S9250 as high speed servos.

I've been told it's for slow servos. Does that equal analog servos?

iv been told the delay switch is for analog servos

@~6:00 "It's a pretty good mod..." I think the only really useful one. No matter what I tried, couldn't get the stock servo stop drifting either left or right. Pretty good video! Although would be interesting to hear about the delay switch!?

Thanks for taking the time to do this. You should add a clip at the end with the tail holding to demo the 3400/401 combo.

i bought the JR heli servo pack and the 401
the 3400g is $70 and my 401 was $120
the JR servo pack was 160 has 3 285 and 1 3400G

the stock gyro works just fine
not as good as the 401 but will work well for the beginer.

why dont you like the gyro that comes with the blade 400?

AND THE SERVO?

how much for what? if you want the 401 gyro it's 139.99 at more retail, the heli is somewhere around 400 + or - a hundred dollars
