Wow, that fish was fighting great.
Ive been to Thailand a couple of times but ive only ever sea-fished, if i ever go back, id love to give that a go :)

I remember fishing that place,I brought a 5lb TC catfish rod and big pit reel from england,great fishing,not a scenic location but the fish made up for it................

yup to much drag for sure!!!

she is a lot faster on it now for sure, with clocking up a nice 46kg fish Kag's skills are now up with some top fisherman/woman!

put it together and we are very proud of what she has achieved at Bung Sam Ran.

easy answer, this is my wife fishing, and the words to the videos have meaning.
before meeting me two years ago she had never been fishing. now she is classed as one of the top women at Bung Sam Ran, and hey she has even landed fish larger than many tourists that visit there.
so this sound track is how she reminds me of who I realy am.
a Fisherman, a Guide, and a Teacher of Fishing.

why the music? how about text narration.

it was a single piece ro that was about 7ft, but not a spinning rod, this one was a cheap rod about 1,200 Baht, about 36usd. but was a great rod for getting some distance to the cast.
after that one I gave Kag a 15kg Shimano Backbone, total roller setup and about 5 1/2 feet, nice action she now has the hang of bending that one up to!!
