ok this might be a stupid question, but i haven't seen the movie yet.. does Galactus even show up in this movie? At all? If not they realy left out the best part..

Story said he would not use giant robots in any of his films, but he doesn't realize that Galactus is an entity, not a robot. I mean, people say Galactus looks silly as he does, but what's so funny about Galactus?

Avi Arad might say "Funny big-helmet man eating planets." Sad as it sounds, but its possible thats why they showed Galactus as a cloud.

As you said, he's one of the powerful beings in Earth 616! He deserves to be the villain in the flesh and not a swirling dust storm.

Yeah, had they used Alicia in getting Norrin Radd (surfer's real name) to appreciate life, that would have been stronger. It is sad that they didn't do that.

I wish that the Puppet Master and the Skrulls would be used in the third movie, which may or may not get made because the studio has put a focus on the J. Michael Strazynski-written Silver Surfer film. JMS said, though, that Galactus would be seen in his true form.

That's one crumb of comfort...
