Anyway, many of the ground techniques used in MMA today is derived from Judo, which came to Brazil and was passed down to the Gracie's. They've also added techniques and developed a system solely for ground fighting, hence, Brazilian Jujitsu. If techniques used by the samurais aren't 'deadly' what is? Educate yourself before speaking.

Shaolin techniques aren't allowed in MMA competition? That's total bullshit, say that to all those NHB fighters in Brazil or anywhere for that matter. Hidden 'techniques' are ridiculous and childish. If they aren't being used there's no way to understand its effectiveness, and considering all the Kung Fu guys in the old UFC's were demolished, it's kind of hard to show it.

ipon is single, as in single armed shoulder throw, or morote for double, they call it drop cos its traditionaly a standing technique, but works pretty good when u drop into it
