Remote Shutdown & Changing Account Info with a Limited Acct.

it says access denied why is it? could someone please explain to my why it says access denied?

dude can we make the shutdown trick to computers which are not into lan... i mean, if we know theis ip address, can make this? for example, i want to shoutdown my friend's pc which is some kms away. but i know his ip.. can i do this?

Well the command is "ipconfig" minus quotatiions. That is probably your first mistake. =]

everytime i type ipcinfic it only shows my computers ip add even thought i am connected to the other computer

how do i do that password thing for a limited account? i dont think u can but when i tried it says access denied error 5 has occurred etc. but it works on the admin account

well the system might not know the shortcut seens how it was made 8 odd years ago..

you can try putting in the run menu "command" minus the " ", and then see if that works.. if not i know another way.. but to long to type here.. PM if this does not work.
