These geniuses always have a way to do their stuff.Jamerson recorded the stuff in the studio lying down on his freaking back. They did the song in one take, which tells you, these funk brothers guys were more than brilliant. Wes MOntgomery also used his thumb only on a six string guitar. Amazing stuff indeed!

Who would think that James Jamerson was only using his index finger to pluck those La Bella flatwounds on his "Funk Machin" Fender Precision Bass.

I think you're being too negative. Attitudes are changing slowly, but they ARE changing.

For example, who would have thought, even a few years ago, that a black man and a woman would be vying for the presidency?? You would think that would happen in a more liberal country like Canada, but it's happening in the USA.
