its because of radio and these so-called hip hop video shows that only play the same bullshit. I'm 28 and when I was in my teens the radio and video shows would play everything from old school and the new S**t mainstream and underground. from Biggie to Schooly D. now everything is so damn structured, so-called request lines and corny ass countdowns, everything is playlists and bullshit gimmicks. like "here's that new joint you done heard every hour on the hour, but we gotta say its exclusive"

Hip hop like this deserves recognition, but should underground so only true fans should appreciate it
