U.S. Army Ranger School - Part 3

Now compare BCT (basic for army) and Marine bootcamp and you can cream yourself in shock and awe at the awesomeness of being a Marine

Hopefully ppl who dont know it well dont get confused, rangers are already in service, while Marine bootcamp recruits are still slimy civilians and can only be pushed so far before someone calls their congressman or woman

It is 10x harder to become a ranger than an Marine, but it is 10x harder to become a MARSOC or Recon Marine than become a ranger

I know this has got to be tough, but the satisfaction of a Ranger tab would be incomparable.

The conversation i was having was between me and rato26 not you...The Recon Marines do not have to go through Ranger school it is just on the list of schools they can go to. For your info the Marines are special . Dont comment back i will not read it.

Did you go to Ranger school? Probably not...I seriously doubt you are in a position to criticize whether it's "tough" or not. There is nothing special about Marines. If you are talking Recon Marines, please remember that they have to go through Ranger school as well. It's one of the hardest military training schools in the world.

that is debateable. If you are in the 75th technically you are a ranger but you are a "tabless bitch". In my book you have to get the tab to be a ranger.

you are correct in saying that there are 2-4 thousand rangers IN THE BATAILLION. However, there are many not in the bataillion who have earned the tab

NO thats not what im saying...But it is harder to be a Recon or MARSOC Marine by far!

Are you saying it'a easy to become a ranger? Becoming a ranger is ten times harder than becoming a marine it's F**king special forces!

And if a Ranger is not 75th I would not consider him a Ranger.

Dude you are so wrong! There are roughly 180,000 active duty Marines and only about 2,000 to 4,000 Rangers. If your talking just Ranger qualified I dont know but their not "hard" so who gives a F**k .

Yeah but the last"3-4" (more like the last week)days of Marine basic are still just basic. Ranger school is for some of the best in the Army... So I guess that says something about Marine Basic ha.
