This is pretty interesting, because Rourkes's career started to slide partly because of his espoused disdain for Hollywood and various actors, film-makers etc - which is a no-no as far as the industry is concerned, so they stop offered work (shallow fuckwits that they are.) This is similar to the path Gallo's been following, so it's good to see him getting advice - and hasn't he just been cast in the new Coppola film?

Great actor. Loved him in Buffalo 66. Gallo is great too, but if he took Mickey Rourkes advice, he wouldn't be Vincent Gallo. Rock on Gallo....give um hell!

Mickey is excellent. I can't get enough of him. He has the best personality! We don't see enough of him. He's a treasure.

A great talent who took a wrong turn and is making his way back...once a leading man but a much better character actor; one of the greats of all time.

Awesome actor..but what the F**k is going on with his face..botched surgery? I've seen him attempt to box..could have been the result of several face beatings..sad whatever it is..but I still admire his acting and he seems like a straight up guy. I bet the crazy motherfucker has some stories...

he has been boxing for some years, he had 5 or 6 his nose recovery operations and something else maybe so he is not that handsome like before boxing, but still very cool :)

Mickey had the potential to be one of the greats. This is shortly after some very bad plastic surgery. He looks better now, but far from what he looked like in Angel Heart, etc. Seems like he only gets "ruffian" type roles now...
