It probably has to do with the material and the heat basis. Certain materials can look and sound like metal but can weaken under something like body heat. Then it becomes possible to do that with a "metal" spoon. Other than that, i would agree that it is a rubber spoon.

hey zensightprocess, thanks for the two videos (i liked them both.) tonight was my first time actually ever researching spoon bending, i've done it once before two nights ago with a fork (my first bend) and than i bent a spoon tonight two and a half times. this all happened before i seen your videos, but i think that your videos will help me in my future spoon bending. thanks =)
