    Hi tangy1212. Yes, it can be done. Click the Tools menu and select Options. Click on the Edit tab and make sure the "Extend list formats and formulas" check box has a tick in it. Once this is done then Excel will include conditional formatting from the previous row as you add new rows of data.

    Thanks for the video, very helpful. Just a quick question: I noticed that if you add another row of information, the conditional formatting does not apply to that new row. Is there anyway to automatically conditional format the new row, or do we have to do it manually?
