There's the problem: It wasn't the kid, it was the fact the plane was an Airbus product. This is the exact same plane that 'flew itself' into a forest at a French airshow. This is fact.

Very sad. I'm in agreement with a lot of other posters: They shouldn't have allowed the kids into the cockpit. I'm surprised - given the high status of the flight crew - that this was ever allowed to happen.

They should have never let the kid in the cockpit, the pilots regained control of the plane at the end but they had dove too far and could not climb back up. It was entirely the pilots fault for letting him in the cockpit and there was a signal alerting them the autopilot had turned off and the plane was in the child's hands, could have easily been avoided.

when i flew to thaailand in year 2000 i was asked if i wanted to see the cockpit (but i was only six)

yep, you are right. that patucular plane has a function that willl not allow it to stall, even at very low alutuides. all the pilot had to lat go of the controls

Only pilots should be allowed in cockpit. They should make it that The door does not open from when the Plane doors closes to when they open

i think i've watched this before. Wasn't the solution to the problem was to let go of the steering controls in order to stop the plane from descending?

i have the level d and a pmdg 737-700 and i fly just fine with them

in fs2004/fsx the realism is actually quite low, not only with the flight model but with the aircraft systems to, the aircraft are very simplified, the default aircraft do not have any FMC get level d 767 or pmdg 747 and see how good you think you are

yes...it's always money but which one is more important? money or lives...the big boys are always pushing pilots and flight attendants to do extra shifts..it's all about money...

No the pilots are not murderes. But who thought that something worst could happened. So dont say that kind of things. It were good pilots
