    May i add a comment, in my opinion the b-52 is a great plane, capable of doing what it is built for, however the vulcan was and still is a better plane, it needs half the runway length to take off therefore is up and away when needed. It is just a shame that this poxy government did'nt keep them, well done to the yanks who have got a long range bomber, thanks british government, what have we got? nowt!
