People like you crack me up. That is what is meant by "taking a comment out of context." Instead of your being impressed by the fact that she wants to be in an active and productive position, you make fun of her asking the rhetorical question, "What does the VP do all day?" I am sure she knows what a VP does technically, but is asking if she is going to actually have some power and ability to make changes versus being a lapdog to the president. Zennie, when were you last the mayor of a town of 9000 and when were you last an elected Governor? I suppose though you would have loved this gal if she was a democrat and said she didn't know what the VP did all day but she wanted the job if it meant "change" and "hope." Your arguments are impressive to the impressionable.

Once again, it seems you have taken something and blown it out of proportion. Almost no one knows precisely what veeps do all day long. My understanding is that it could very well depend on what the Prez says she is to do. With respect to the "control" aspect--if it had been someone with much greater experience, you undoubtedly would have said McCain wants someone to hold his hand or whatever. Bush supposedly wanted yes-men at the same time he was a puppet; which is it? Always a conspiracy.

lastly, her story of pro life, nra, mom of five, commerical fisherwoman, city council member, mayor, and govenor, demonstrates she has some experience handling budgets. we have a surplus of several billion dollars in oil revune here in alaska and receive a pfd each year. I will be receiving $3200 on sept 12 for living here due to the oil sharing profits that every resident of alaksa receives..i will receive at least $2000 in a pfd and $1200 for energy rebate from the....
