Yeh n its a fab vid of Ms Dion! I was replyin to a commment left by jfd5289 earlier who had said that Whitney doesnt compare with Celine here and Whitney struggled to hit high notes these days etc etc! So I thought I stick up for Ms Houston as in her prime she was second to none! ;)

Celine is one of my faves of all time but to compare her here when shes in her prime to Whitney post drugs isnt fair! If u watch Whitney in her prime singing live she tops this effortlessly, Hitting both higher and lower notes in the same song with extreme power, melody and control! As for "prettyness" or tone, thats a personal preferance and shouldnt be used in such comparisons! Technically, melodically and power wise, Whitney is better! Also "pretty" wise! Mariah doesnt compare to either!

THANK YOU!! You are right! Celine is SO obviously the greatest! I think when we acknowledge it as truth, fans of the other ladies become hopstile. They KNOW it too, they just hate admitting it, so they go into denial! Celine is QUEEN! And SO humble! If anyone doesn't agree it's only cuz they don't know any better! The proof is out there.. let's see madonna or rihanna sing this one - and without touching themselves all the time! why does today's so-called talent have to be so nasty, half naked, i guess to take your mind off the fact that they really have NOTHING to offer! CELINE HAS TALENT- PLAIN AND SIMPLE, SHE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A TRUE STAR, CLASSY AND TALENTED...

I watch this video every single day and I just can't get enough of it.She's the one that I will always look up to as a model of perfection!

I don't think you can really question whether or not she's the best singer in the world. I love Mariah, but her voice isn't nearly as powerful and fierce as Celine's. And Whitney is great, but she couldn't top this--especially live! She struggles to hit notes live. Her voice also isn't as pretty as Celine's, especially since she's done all those drugs.
