(part 3, read below) he wasnt as bulky, but thin and lean, yet still super strong. his V2O is greater than most humans alive. he was the ability to endure pain for an incredible amount of time, because of his lack of lactic acid. its a god given gift. you can't dope and reduce the amount of lactic acid in your muscles. he is an incredibly talented athlete, not just as a cyclist, but he did triathlons as well. he was great and could have been a pro.

(part 2, read below) we all know that he suffered from 3 different types of cancers. and while he was sick (are you listening you retards who think he cheats) HIS BODY CHANGED. He lost ALL weight, muscle and fat (though he didn't have much fat). his metabolism changed, and when he finally went back to cycling (it took a while, and lost of motivation, as you know if you read the book) he rode differently. his body didn't build the HUGE muscles that he used to have.

for those who think lance is a cheater, consider this:
you are idiots! he is the greatest cyclist that has ever walked the face of the earth because of his body build up and physiology.

He could have won the giro or the vuelta if he wanted to but he only lived and trained for the tour!

It's a pity he didn't ride the Giro d'Italia though - Merckx won that 5 times as well as the Tour 5 times, Anquetil 5 Tours & 2 Giro, Hinault won it 3 times as well 5 Tours and Indurain won it 2 times. Each of them usually winning both in the same season!
