I listened to Jim Croce as a teenager. He spoke to a lot of hearts with his music and words. It was simple and deep at the same time. I wanted to be like him. He helped me identify feelings and stay hopeful. I was sad when he died. But I also felt that he was triumphant in his life. As a kid, I was fortunate to have heard him. Like the young lady said "a few lyrics seem to describe me". Inspiring. I'm gonna through on an old JC record for my kid. At 51 & prone to cynicism I still admire him.

His music is so beautiful to me. I LOVE it.
my dad used to play it and I thought it was this old people music and then I started to like it and started going to sleep with it as a kid and now I'm just in love with it. All of it. I bought the two disc greatest hits and none of my friends know who he is =)

i wish that he still lives so he could make a lot of more songs...
