  • I don't know if I ...

I don't know if I like you hypothesis as well as the generally accepted THEORY (definition: a scientifically accepted model for explaining the relation of events in a manner that can predict other events, and which can be proven false in light of new, conflicting data.) however, it is an interesting direction of thought. I will look at Bjorn Lomborgensteinumbrothelvankerikbeinienfrankfurter

  • Because of this, ...

Because of this, given the limited time series we have and due to the fact that since 1850 we are in a general warming trend (because of the sun) the correlation between CO2 and warming exists, but prove no causation. In fact, CO2 follows temperatures with a 800 year lag.
Bottom line CO2 does jack. Watch bjorn lomborg on youtube, see what he says.
BTW I liked that joke with the gals. Good one!!

  • Good. The link ...

Good. The link between CO2 and warming is the other way round the GW alarmists would want you believe. There is lots of CO2 and air for that matter dissolved in the sea. It is in thermodynamic equilibrium. When temp of the ocean increses (more sun), a new equil is acheved by sending some excess CO2 in the atmosphere.

  • Excellent! ...

Excellent! Wonderful! I liked the presentation! Facts! Disputable, re-testable, provable facts! Such a far cry from the "the oceans could be evaporating and causing increased CO2" argument that I was met with only a month ago. I like it because I can postulate that increased temperature could cause increased CO2 emission from animals; like insects, plankton, bacteria... I really think it's worth further investigation.

  • Also, I will go ...

Also, I will go read anything you recommend in the spirit of finding the truth... or even altering my perception of it. Is the definition of science 'the refuting of evidence which does not support your beliefs?' No, but rather 'the refuting of your beliefs which are not supported by evidence.'
And, Galileo would not have been imprisoned by me, I am not THE Pope, it's a nickname... because I've made so many atheist girls scream, "Oh, God, oh, God, I'm coming!"
    Only kidding.
