Selena's Rosary (04/02/95)

Yolanda took a beautiful thing from us that woman had absolutely positivly no right to kill Selena. Since there are people like Yolanda still running around on the street God has a plan for you and it's not going to be anything nice. My husband keeps telling me God doesn't like ugliness and he's absolutely right God is about love, peace and forgivness but what Yolanda did to Selena is absolutely unforgivable. I hate Saldivar and can nobody trust that woman ever again.

Not everyone can be trusted, put a question mark on everyone and make "them" prove that you can trust them. I think God would approve of this approach with people. It's just using our God given common sense.

There are a lot of people out there like Yolanda who would do us harm. Rest in peace Selena, we will always miss you but you live on in your music.

CuttingCowgirl2007, the Bible and scripture I read does not support what you say. Jesus was hung on a cross which was the an accepted means of killing and death at the time and it was a horrible way to die. I don't read anything about the stake you talk about.

Yes, there WILL BE be a millinium teaching period, it has not yet happened. It will be for those people who have never been taught the true meaning of the scriptures.

I feel sorry for the ministers and preachers who have taken it upon themselves to teach the word or God and are doing it falsely or wrong. Or anyone else for that matter.

Millinium means a thousand years but that will be in God's time not ours, God will have the teaching period for a long as He thinks it is necessary. Also we are now in The Generation of the Fig Tree which is the last generation there will be.

It started in 1948 when the Jews returned to their homeland of Jerusalem. From the signs and things that are happening in the World this generation does not have much time left.

Gordo80, first off I don't do what the doctor tells me, I do what God tells me to do in my life. I'm sure your JW authorities feel they are right in what they told you about not accepting blood transfusions but they are wrong.

The JW's need to go back and study the manuscripts and see what the practice was at the time, people did drink blood then and that's what the scripture is talking about..

If I am injured and need a transfusion of blood to live, God would not want me to refuse it and die because of some misinterpretation of scripture in the Bible, this is just common sense.

In fact to me it would be the equivalent of committing suicide. We are each put here on this earth to accomplish something, we aren't just born at random because two people performed the act that got us here.

If I refused a transfusion and died I believe it would be me deciding to terminate my life and God would not approve of that. You believe what you feel is right for you but don't come on a public board like this and talk down to people like you did ginnybba.

And stop coming to the door of people's houses and trying to stick your foot in the door to keep it open when they don't want to talk to you.

You told her she was full of crap, if that the way a JW usually talks to people? ginnybba and others who think a transfusion would have saves Selena is wrong.

That bullett cut an artery in Selena's shoulder, she bled to death before she got to the hospital. Also she was unconscious so she could not have either accepted or refused a transfusion.

I just wish you JW people would study what the practice of the people was at the time when a particular scripture in the Bible was written before you come on a public board and start talking down to people.

Telling people they are full of crap is rude.Your interpretation of Acts 15:29 is simply wrong. We will all be held accountable by God when we die for the way we have lived down here including you.

You go in peace, live your life the way you think you should but stop coming on a public board and trying to force people to accept your interpretation of the scriptures, especially in a situation like this with Selena. I have no more to add to this.

Thats fair enough that you interpret the Bible that way. The JW's interpret it as purely 'abstaining from blood' as it says. The scripture does not specify drinking or eating, I have spoken with JW's in depth about this. That scripture does not specify animal or human blood it just says "blood". If a doctor told you to abstain from coffee but you had it drip fed into your body, you wouldnt be abstaining from it would you.

NortherNLuv14, She died March 31, 1995. Since we weren't there to see the meeting with Yolanda and Selena we just have to go with what was said.

The way I understand it is Yolanda had been keeping the money sent in by the fans but not sending back any fan pictures of Selena to the fans.

How stupid was that? Yolanda could have kept some of the money and sent the pictures to the fans. She probably would not have been discovered or it would have taken a long time to do it. From what was said, Yolanda had trouble with her former employer too.

So Yolanda was told she must produce the records showing the transactions for the money and the pictures. Of course there were no records so she tried to convince Selena she was innocent.

I don't understand why Selena went to the hotel/motel to meet Yolanda alone, not a good idea.Yolanda had bought the gun she had a few days or weeks earlier. I read that when Selena got there Yolanda told Selena she had been raped.

Selena drove Yolanda to the hospital to be checked but this was just all part of Yolanda's game to try to get Selena to forget about the money and fan pictures.
