  • aoe, first of all i ...

aoe, first of all i also practice martial arts and i would like to say that jiu jitsu is actually taught to military special forces, unfortunately your stupid as F**k .

also, if someone tries to punch you and you take them down and break their leg in a matter of a few seconds, you think that guy with the broken arm is gonna think he just participated in a "sport"?

if there were no ref's or giving up in those "sport" tournaments bones would be broken all the time.

    your stupid as hell.

your trying to tell people bjj doesent work on the street. try getting taken down to the ground and then punched in the face untill your choking on your own blood then tell me bjj is a sport dumy.

  • then you are ...

then you are ignorant. brazilian ju jitsu proved in ufc 1 when the gracie clan won itthat it is the most effective martial art practiced today because it is the only martial art which is tested every day in fights (ufc)
special forces u.s army rangers practice bjj look it up lol..............
also you make no sense.i quote "
It's all but official; MMA is now the most efficient Martial Art in the world"

mma is not a fighting style mma is the name of the sport lmao...and the base is bjj gf x

  • I have done the ...

I have done the research, i actually practice martial arts. Can you say the same thing or do you just watch it on TV. Again let me say that Brazilian Ju Jitsu is a SPORT not a practical martial art, that is why they do not teach it to the military or police.

  • For a women it ...

For a women it would work if your attack was untrained, but if the attacker understands the concept of leverage and balance then she would be in real trouble. Plus bjj is mainly ground fighting with little to no striking...do you really think that a girl should fight a guy on the ground...We are not talking about fighting in a ring...

  • thats where your ...

thats where your wrong, you say you trained bjj. but the whole concept of bjj is the women, the old man, the child the weaker, overcoming the strong with technique and leverage.

look at royce gracie, first ever ufc champion, weakest of all the sons. maybe you trined traditional ju jitsu, or u must be ungraded in bjj

  • I am a big fan of ...

I am a big fan of anderson silva he is a great mma fighter if not the best...any prof fighter would do well in a one on one street fight against someone in the weight class...I am just saying that the army and police do not train in MMA, and there is a reason for that. There is also the fact that women cant use it because you have to be in the person weight class for the moves to work effectively. plus I real dont think silva would take a street fight to the ground.

  • no one in the ...

no one in the street knows how to fight on the ground, are you saying someone like anderson silva ouldnt fair well ina street fight, even though he is a great ground technician and is very skilled in bjj??

mma is street fighting, its no holds barred ffs lol, only difference is the tiny gloves, but not being a mma fighter you wouldnt know how hard they hit..

sandy geddes is a krav maga instructor, and still a semi pro mma fighter. its nt that effective.

  • brazilian ju jitsu, ...

brazilian ju jitsu, is a sport based martial art...there are rules...it is a great martial art for UFC fights, however there is little practical use in the street...I have practiced Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Krav Mega and combat Hapikido...and i find the krav mega and combat hapikido are far superior in street fights.

  • It would still do ...

It would still do any Way justice to esteem the focus and qi building aspects, meditation, herbal cures and the like. This MMA wave must surely have the best of these, too?? There's one's center of gravity in relativity to another mortal body; there's also one's Energy centers, in relativity to all phenomenal bodies. However, this is KaliYuga, age of the 4th class man & destroying is far more valuable than building, the ego's life more important than its deathy....

  • It's all but ...

It's all but official; MMA is now the most efficient Martial Art in the world; its practitioners are everywhere flooding these sites with ramblings about training + efficiency; I know that MMA is west and best and all other arts are east and least. What about this path beyond thought?? All those thousands of years of Art handed down cannot
stand up to mighty MMA of the last 20 years.
