making good music albeit, the same.
theres nothing i appreciate more than a musician pushing the envelope.
a musicians popularity makes no difference
it only means they are most likely mainstream.
so in my opinion matt bellamy is still my jesus of modern day music.

honestly, if u compare what tedder has done in less than 2 years to what matt has done as an artist in his whole career, i'd say tedder would win
check his wiki. most of it happened in the last 2 years. he wrote the top 2 biggest songs in the past 20 yrs. first broke the record on november with apologize, then broke it again 5 months later with bleeding love.
i dun think anyone in history can surpass that ever. (at least not within a 5 month period)

and that's just one of the things he's done.

I'm not saying he isn't talented. But in my opinion I haven't seen enough to impress me to the point where I'll call him a music prodigy.
Yes, he is good. But he just seems like a lot of other artists. I doubt he will be remembered and listened to in years to come. Which is what I hate about the modern day industry.

he is actually more in demand that timbaland himself. timbaland may just seem more popular because he always has his name on the track

Yes he is a great musician
and has some singing talent.
but i still don't think it quite compares to Matt Bellamy.
I know its sort of personal preference on music tastes. but check out the band MUSE sometime.
They have so many musical styles. They are one of the best bands you will ever hear live. the lead singer(matt bellamy) not only sings, plays guitar, and piano, but he does it all extremely well.
even the songs they never release are chart are twice as good as other bands filler songs

You should check out the lead singer of Muse.
He's an amazing singer, he plays lead guitar, not just easy guitar either.
and he plays piano. not to mention his writing.

its live because he's F**king standing there singing and the band is standing there F**king playing! lol. There's nothing wrong with effects if there used to enhance the song and not as a crutch. That's like saying "oh, you can use delay or chorus on your guitar because that not live".

i think what you're refering to is 'acoustic'. it means that the audio isnt electrically modified.
