WTF Taekwondo-Taegeuk Il Jang (1st Poomse) "Heaven & Light"

to be fair i study wtf and even il jang, the first poomsae taught, that was demonstrated can cause tirednesss if done correctly, and if the right amount of power and most importantly technique is executed you will have an almoust flawless patern

Sorie no offence but WTF patterns Doesn't have any power in it at all and is too robot and never even breathe. power comes from sine wave and waist and prepare motion he doesn't have all at all.

well.. This is not the best show of 1. TaeGeuk. There is a lot of wrong motions. (Quite apart from the fact, that this one is a very old version from WTF..??)

This is because General Choi liked the North better than the South. And obviously Koreans from South Korea didn't like this and so they broke away from the traditional TKD that General Choi created and made their own.

how come WTF don't use sinewave? the very principle that gives the movements in taekwondo their power. how come they never seem to show any emotion in their patterns? you could do this kind of effortless crap all day and not feel the slightest bit tired. in ITF when going through patterns chonji to choongmoo you're absolutely exausted by the time you finish, as every movement is done with 100% power and effort, and every muscle in the body is used to generate that power. WTF is just...shitty

how come the WTF broke away from general choi and made their own patterns up?

He doesnt show it that good, he is not looking before he ´turns to another side, and he looks like a robot doing it. its not very good

Taegeuk Il jang issent that hard... i bet everyone could do it... (learn'd it on 1 day of training)
