I wouldnt consider the doors punk. Maybe you can say they were there time's equivalent to punk music... but they arnt by any stretch of the imagination punk. I love jim, I respect what he did for music and the walls he broke down. BTW im also a big punk fan/hardcore punk fan so dont take anything i said as a snub to punk music.

Although I can see why you would think The Doors are punk because of the "no rules thing",they are not. Nothing is going to change that.
