As part of the 2008 PickupTrucks.com Half-Ton Shootout, PickupTrucks.com put six half-ton pickups from Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Nissan and Toyota through an offroad obstacle course that included a gravel pit, a 46.6 percent dirt-hill climb and descent, and a telephone pole crawl.     This would be why most guy yank those stock 31 inch tires off there and put some real meat on it. My truck came stock with 245/75/16's and i have 33/13.50/17 iroc's now, no issues. But when you getting ready to take it to the strip the stock tires are a blast.
