  • Music

First a very good and useful video, however the choice of music leaves a lot to be desired. I love Pink Floyd and own almost every album they've ever cut (ah, the rubbishy old vinyl days, when they actually cut the grooves into plastic platters and you could barely hear it for the hiss and the pops!) but it distracts from the tutorial. I get more interested in the music than the information, which is what I want. Try some ambient sounds or even classical, Bach or Mozart, something that fades into the background but gives depth.

Thanks for this very helpful tutorial.

  • Yes, the magic wand ...

Yes, the magic wand leaves stuff behind or, worse, removes stuff you want. I would use it very carefully. I only use the wand on solid color backgrounds where the subject is in high contrast to it. But this video shows the best way to do it.
