Benny was a genius and legend. From the 50s to the 90s that humble genius made the whole world laugh. He is know today as a comedian who relied on sexist and lewd jokes and its simply not true. He was a total pioneer in TV. The BBC hold the rights to his early work and should be shamed for not releasing it on DVD to show the world what a total genius this man was. And Thames TV should hang their head in total shame for sacking him in the early 90s. RIP Benny Hill you very funny man and best ever

There's one clip from his show that I've been looking everywhere for. It shows a little boy at the bus stop with his grandma, and he's biting his fingernails. His grandma says "Stop biting your fingers! Stop it! If you keep biting your fingers, you'll swell up like a balloon." Then a pregnant lady comes along, and the boy looks at her, points and says, "Oh, I know what YOU been doin'!"

The version I prefer of this gag, was from one of his B&W shows from the 1970-71 series, where the patient was (a more fully clothed) Sue Bond. More specifically, that first version aired Dec. 23, 1970. This one with Ms. Leeves was from Jan. 5, 1983.
