Ok this not truly a debate between an atheist and a pastor, but it is an atheist saying all the things to a pastor that would piss him off. A classic battle of jerk vs. joke, but who's the jerk and whos the joke in this one?
Religion is in an entirely different class than the aforementioned. Thus, many of your points are rendered irrelevant. Example: water is needed to sustain life. It kills, but it does far more good than harm, whereas religion is the opposite.
"the men that died for your freedom or some type of freedom was delusional."
This is also an irrelevant point, as religion stunts freedom and potential growth. Belief and reservation of freedom is essentially the opposite of everything religion stands for.
it is so funny to see you getting mad. if your prank calls allways end this way you should get another hobby. seriously owned
btw: i´m getting an email if you answer so i don´t have to come back stupid

By teamhex [Affiliate User] 1218556496Outstanding! Another douche bag who thinks I'm here to argue.
By nikobelic85 [Affiliate User] 1218556175Yes both guys (same guy) was being an asshole. It was the point of the calls. He was not trying to do anything but piss the pastor off. The best way to piss anyone off is to be an asshole right? Ok then. Now no his arguments weren't good. I know the guy who made the calls and he was not trying to make good arguments just talk fast and get the pastor pissed. I'd say mission accomplished. It is in the description of the video incase you did not read it.
By jesusinadumptruck [Affiliate User] 1218531912Asking someone to prove god doesn't exist is called "shifting the burden of proof." For example, if my claim was "I can run a mile in 30 seconds." Is it on you to prove I can't do that, or is it on me to prove I can do it? You can't make an unreal claim and tell someone else to prove it isn't real. Can you prove the flying spaghetti monster doesn't exist? Proving a negative is next to impossible to prove. To quote you, "So your going to have to come up with a better argument then that."
By jesusinadumptruck [Affiliate User] 1218531415God? lol. it is the other way around. you should have a reason to believe in "god" just as you should have to believe in aliens or bigfoot. if you don´t then well its fine but don´t try to argue without arguments
By Cromwell523 [Affiliate User] 1218522186It doesn't matter that you said "some." I'm not talking about generalizations. And atheists are the minority to begin with. Also, we're talking about personal beliefs and thoughts here, not actions. If it's okay for a religious person to believe for whatever reason, why would it matter what an atheist person believes if they're not hurting anyone? How is it fair for you to judge why they chose to drop their belief in a god? And I just said atheists have courage, not that you don't have any.
By NintendoArielle [Affiliate User] 1218478047Ok again your trying to make a argument over nothing. There is a difference in me saying "Some" Atheis don't even have a good reason for not believeing in God than "All" Atheis or just saying Atheis don't have a good reason. The some was put there as a way of me saying not all Atheis have a good reason. Nintendo use your logic to see that your starting a argument with me like I said something mean about Atheis. Also there is not need to indirectly call me stupid, or say I have no courage.
By nikobelic85 [Affiliate User] 1218477592Of course I was defensive, but that was because you said, and I quote, "Some Atheis don't even have a good reason for not believing in God". I was offended that you acted as if our beliefs (or, rather, lack thereof,) were invalid, whereas most religious people only believe because they were taught at a young age. Atheism requires a high degree of thought, because most have the courage to question. It's not because "they have been done wrong by a church." And the pastor was being the asshole.
By NintendoArielle [Affiliate User] 1218474138That's very interesting you used to be a Jew and all. I'm hurt that you said my comment was patetic, and accussed me of being a bigot. Did you actually read the comment or did you skim through it because you felt as though I was talking bad about atheis? Could you do me a favor really read my comment again. Then notice words like "Some" and the part were I say "It's one thing to have a valid argument". Do you not agree that the two guys were being ass holes? There is no need to be defensive.
By nikobelic85 [Affiliate User] 1218472546Yes, that is the flying spaghetti monster theory. The flying spaghetti monster is real simply because I say it is. Just like god is real because people say he is. The reality of individuals is not subject to opinion, but the reality of opinion is subject to individuals.
By jesusinadumptruck [Affiliate User] 1218446916Any rational argument that applies to the existence of god can usually be applied to an invisible unicorn who told me in my basement that he created everything.
By cklizzard [Affiliate User] 1218433888True.
By jesusinadumptruck [Affiliate User] 1218400685God is believe to be creator of ALL things. Physical or non physical. I can easily say God created the X and Y chromosomes to create man and women. Can science prove if theres a god or not? No. Cause science is the study of ALL THINGS. And believers believe God created ALL THINGS. So your going to have to come up with a better arguement then that. If god is so good why all the suffering? God said he would give you strenght, not end your suffering. Your reward is in heaven. Anything else?
By agreeklove [Affiliate User] 1218360500And let's not forget about sacrifice. *Shudders*
By NintendoArielle [Affiliate User] 1218359412A lot of religions have something called blood atonement. In a lot of cases this was to mean if you kill someone whose soul hasn't been saved it will save then. So that would be a direct order from a religion to kill. But also I agree that people do kill. After all people made up all the ridiculous religions and it is people who follow the dumb ass rules so I agree that it is people that have done the killing. Some people just use religion as the trigger to get others to kill in the name of god.
By jesusinadumptruck [Affiliate User] 1218357715Body, soul, and spirit? Isn't a soul and a spirit the same thing. "Jesus is not my crutch, he's my wheelchair." Ha ha ha. Funny. No way I can take somebody like that seriously.
By SpraxIAKS [Affiliate User] 1218351774there is no god, just made up bullshit for morons to believe in. and why say "he" does god have a dick? and XY chromosomes? people are such assholes for believing in god
By georgiadrew [Affiliate User] 1218350174LMAO....creationist idiots!
By whole27 [Affiliate User] 1218312142"Wait, Religion doesn't kill, people do"
Religion is just a bunch of theories. It means nothing until humans partake in its asinine philosophies. So obviously, it is religion that kills people, because a human without religion isn't being told by some crackpot theory to commit murder.
"Should we rid the world of humans then?"
No, we should rid the world of *religion.*
"Anyone whose willing to die for what they believe, it says alot about them."
Like how they're delusional?
So your saying we should get rid of religion because it "kills"? Why stop there? Lets get rid of water because that "kills" And guns too. All drugs can "kill" to if you have the right amount. And what about people who "kill" because they don't like someone? Electric chair. And cars. That "kills" people on a daily. Oh yeah and would you say the men that died for your freedom or some type of freedom was delusional. After all they "believe" in freedom. "Kill" you can come up with a better reason.
By agreeklove [Affiliate User] 1218314687He was saying that without divine authority to pursue the death of non-believers (as many religions suggest) there would be a lot less strife in this world. To follow up on that, getting rid of the right to blame ANYTHING on God might just be the best thing. After all, the only reason you think God does exist is because of 40 "men" who "claim" they spoke with God. Anyone who follows any religion claiming to have spoken to a deity of any sorts is only following the subjective experience of a MAN who lived over 2000 yrs ago. Are you really that gullible? As humans get smarter, the notion of God is seemingly fading away as a fairy tale, and rightfully so if you ask me.
As far as believing in freedom goes, it's a completely different topic. We don't worship freedom, we don't idolize it, and above all else freedom stands for any one persons ability to do whatever they want, however they want.
Strawmanning is a sign of desperation, so be practical and use your knowledge the subject and not your opponents argument to prove a point.
