You know what ?? Orihime even said she was jealous of rukia cause she is so close to Ichigo. ( she said Rukia was kind, pretty, smart and strong.

ur right, but dont you think giving her powers to him and defending him was almost a way of her to redeem herself for feeling responsible for kaien's death? a life for a life? she may not love ichigo, but there is a special spot that ichigo comes close to healing in her heart that hurts because of her killing the man she loved.

Just because Ichigo has a resemblance to Rukia's old vice captain doesn't mean Rukia cares for him because of that stupid reason. I'm sure Rukia isn't dumb enough just to care for someone cuz they look like someone from her past.

Ahhh, this is what I hate. People think Orihime should be with Ichigo because she already said she loves Ichigo. I admit Orihime's love for him is quite annoying but special, but that doesn't mean Ichigo has to return her feelings. =\

there isnt a connection, as much as most people want there to be one, there isnt. the reason she cares so much about ichigo is because he looks like the vice captain of her squad who was killed by a hollow, but you should know that since you have read that far into the manga
