The syphon distills water with out need to heat it. water cant be sucked up a tube higher than sixteen metres. Once it reaches this point it a vacuum will form above it. water boils in a vacuum so water vapour will rise above the fifteen metres to the other side. on this side the water is lower so there is more vapour above it meaning more pressure wich means the water wont boil but will fill with water untill it is balance.
