Origami Buckyball

hehe I noticed a lot of people have trouble with sped up modular origami videos.

I would offer one bit of advice from experience. All modular origami pieces must be symmetrical so when viewing videos like this, only pay attention to a single "Flap" and then simply apply what you saw to the rest.

It takes practice but its actually very easy to memorize.

All he did was Squash fold each corner, flip it over and then fold the diamond to the center to get the flap. Then simply do the rest.

i tried to do this and gave up on the first one

wow!!! great... science and art hand in hand.. But the first part was too fast.. Perhaps you need to show it slowly pausing after each fold or might be explaining it. Thanks.

how do you make the first unit? the like triangle thing.
or whats that unit called so i can find some other tutorial?

i think you should use a bigger size piece of paper for the first illustration. i can't really see what is going on. your hand covered it all
