Craig is amazing with these animals. I was lucky enough to be with him when the Royal White Bengal Tiger gave birth. She had 2 cubs but wasn't interested in feeding the babies. This is a very rare sight. Enjoy!

  • You are a F**king ...

You are a F**king idiot and you are talking absolute bollocks. Craig is a good guy who has done an awful lot for the conservation of wild cat species and helped raise awareness through his highly success show. The guy knows and understands big cats more more than most people could ever hope to. Whereas you know F**k all.

  • Interesting but are ...

Interesting but are you sure that it is a cause of inbreeding ? (im sure it is done) but I highly doubt every white tiger is inbreed, and what causes the orange pigment genes to be turned off ?

  • He only breeds ...

He only breeds white tigers for greedy commercial value. Every time another white tiger is bred it reduces the gene pool further and puts all bengal tigers at risk. royal white bengals are not a separate species of tiger, they are simply bengal tigers with the orange pigment gene switched off. It wouldn't surprise me if the cub had similar genetic defects such as bone problems, a cleft pallette and was cross eyed, (like most white tigers due to inbreeding depression).

  • 1) People only ...

    1) People only breed white tigers for commercial purposes
    2) There is only one bloodline of white tigers and horrific inbreeding is necessary to produce more.
    3) they are not a separate species, they are simply a bengal tiger with the orange pigment gene switched off
    4) Unlike normal tigers, they have no conservation value whatsoever due to the high levels of inbreeding depression
    5) Every white tiger produced reduces the gene pool further, putting all bengal tigers at risk of extinction

  • No your wrong, that ...

No your wrong, that man fostered the tiger from when she was a cub. Its like a father daughter bond. So before you start talking S**t about Zoologists do a little more research on how they tame those beautiful creatures.

It's rare when wild animals are acting like that without knowing or thinking that if they do something wrong, they will get beaten up by humans.

THANK GOD I am seeing more people understanding this GROWING issue.
These animals will NEVER be able to survive in the wild!
So why did we scrap them together to create ANOTHER endangerd animal!
Just stop inbreeding them and let nature take its course and maybe one day lions, tigers, and many other big cats will not be endangerd!

  • Conservation of ...

Conservation of what endangered species. White tigers? They are not a sub-pecies of tiger, just a mutation that humans exploit to make money. The same goes for the white lion.

  • I agree with ...

I agree with nikkiis12. There is no such thing has the Royal White Bengal Tiger. It is a mutated recessive gene which make the normal orange tiger to be born white. These tigers are inbred and more prone to disease and genetic deformities.

  • White tigers do not ...

White tigers do not exist in the wild. They can neither hide from attack nor sneak up to hunt prey. Man has created the glut of white tigers in captivity today through rampant inbreeding. Because white tigers are all so deeply inbred, they all carry genetic flaws.
