That is why VE Day happened first. Only after VE Day did America get serious with Japan.

And made short work of Japan by dropping TWO Atom Bombs on innocent civilians (read: "HIROSHIMA", by John Hersey)... VJ Day followed shortly thereafter.

Japan was an afterthought. GERMANY was the REAL GOAL of FDR.

Pearl Harbor was about GERMANY... not Japan.

US was a NEUTRAL COUNTRY with no interest in becoming involved in another WAR IN EUROPE (continue WWI with fighting GERMANY). America was a PEACEFUL and QUIET place, and Americans wanted to KEEP IT THAT WAY... as ISOLATIONISTS.

FDR felt otherwise, and with "The McCollum Plan" got Japan to attack PH.

Notice when War was declared on Japan, GERMANY got included too.

Notice also, the bulk of Men and Material went to EUROPE FIRST to fight GERMANY.

regardless of who goaded who into war it was inevitable anyway. the japanese had already captured the philipines, an american protectorate and were fighting the chinese who were american allies at the time.

The US Government finally declassified the actual documents proving FDR was guilty of goading Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor. Wanna see it?
