i entered this battle without disses or anything showy like that.if you watch past NMS battles (try finding them),it was bout who busted the best sets of juggles-straight up. and then Noize came in doin somethin totally new-actually something denmark has been known to do-wordplay. he did his thing for the crowd and killed it especially being in NY. i thought he won fair and square.
me and noize are good friends and this battle upped our careers-thats the + out of it.

I've heard a few from cannibus, I like his stuff. I just think Em has it perfected more. Just my opinion though.

I agree, what Dj noize's phrase cuttin is what won him that show. He only won cause it was flashy and it got everyone's attention. It had little to do with skill. I just didn't agree with your Em and Cannibus example, but I understand what you're saying.

YOu obviously haven't heard much from Canibus have you. And its more less the same thing.
In rap the catogories are what...metaphors, flow, creativity, consistency, punchlines...e.t.c
I guess in dj'ing jugglin, scratching, consistency, but basically anything that jus sounds good from what I see always wins a battle like Eminems funny punches and DjNoize's killa phrase cuttin...it jus sounds good ya get...

EM is a much tighter MC than Cannibitch.

Don't even compare DJing with MCing cause it's completely different.

I agree that yes beat juggling is mad heard. LEt's face it though what is a dj's job to play fah the crowd. In any battle whatsoever whichever way you try to get the votes you do it. How many rap battles have you seen where on emcee was really a good lyricist but since his rhymes and punches were so complex e.g Canibus he never won but instead someone like
Eminem who is a good lyricist but there's no way your tellin me that Canibus isn't a tighter emcee than EM.

I'm a old school head and been in da game for a min.. What noize did was a diss story on turntables.. It's not hard at all, a three year old can do it.. But when u do something da crowd can understand, u will win all the time.. Beatjuggling is not a easy thing to do and half of da djs on here can't do what shortkut did... Any body can get da crowd hype with words, but show your skills fam... Shortkut brung da heat to him....
