I'm not sure if you are saying you dont like him, or if you are actualy hoping that he will S**k you long and hard. The piano player is Butch Taylor, and the shooting was stylistic because it was a tribute.

To add more due to the stupid 500 character rule.

I also chose not to choose classical figures, for reasons of keeping this moderatly modern.
Also my comment did come off quite a bit anti-Beatle, which I wasn't going for because I do like some of their early work, and Sgt. Pepper's. That said, Mr. Lennon, nor the Beatles themselves are the most important figure in music history.

  • Elvis is really ...

Elvis is really more a thing of image than anything else. A new way of selling yourself that everyone kinda caught onto. Dylan introduced an entirely new style of song writing. Buddy Holly probably would have gone on to do even more than The Beatles(Who took heavy influence from Holly.) The various jazz musicians I put up speak for themselves. I used Son House because he is considered to be the first great blues man. Johnson is probably the most important one I named though.

  • Interesting that ...

Interesting that you mentioned singers that were not song writers in your statement as being möre "important" than John Lennon or Paul for that matter. Every once in a while I come across people that do not like the Beatles and they state that in some cases as a way of being diferent to the majority. I have never met any one that did not like at least one Beatle"s song however I have met many that did not like any songs by Bod Dylan or even Elvis for example.
