    I remember watching this as a 14 year old and I couldn't believe my eyes -- especially since I was a "hardcore Hulk Hogan fan." I went nuts. I told my Father that I'd "never watch wrestling again!"

    But, of course, I was there the next Monday night and was addicted. This stretch of time -- during the nWo days -- was three of the most incredible years in the history of pro wrestling. Something new and always unpredictable ... which is why the ratings were sky-high.

    Ah, the good ol' days.

    I wonder what would've happened if it were Ric Flair on the receiving end of those leg drops instead of Randy Savage... would the crowd be even more pissed? Flair and Sting are the only true icons of WCW... Hall/Nash/Hogan all got fame first in the WWF... it would've been a bigger statement if it were Flair being used as the NWO's first victim, not Savage.
